UNSTOPPABLE

 While I was ruminating over all that has happened to the world, its system and operations recently, I came to a sharp conclusion that only God is unstoppable and unchangeable!

Before I proceed, let me clarify it that "World" as used in the above paragraph is used to mean the nations of the world, institutions in them, and such things that have to do with them. For example, the health system of the world, the education, the business etc.

Yes, God is unstoppable. I don't have to do exegesis to make you know that. So, I will only draw your attention to one event in the Bible. This event in the bedrock upon which the Christian Faith stands. 

The event started with the birth of a child. The child has one major purpose: Reconciling the world unto God. By now you should know the event I am referring to and the child. But if you have not, journey with me, you will be able to figure it out yourself.

According to the will of God, it was predestined that this Child should taste death for every man. If it were to be any kind of death, it would not have made any difference as such. It was the death of the Cross. Let me tell that, the Child suffered. He was bruised, chastised, spat upon, and the climax was that he was killed. Period. Once you have killed someone, what else do you expect? Nothing.

At the death of this Child, those who crucified him rejoiced greatly.  Their  rejoicing was connected to the relief they got from his death. The Child was their major enemy. He called them sons of devil, hypocrites, among other names. He found fault in many of their actions. Nothing they did was ever pleasing to Him. So, they have overcome Him. So, it was worth rejoicing. 

Lord have mercy! All these they did as a result of the devil at work in them though. When the child was buried, they made sure a huge stone was rolled against the entrance of His tomb. In their mind, they have stopped him completely. 

Fortunately, the Child can not be stopped!

Interestingly, God was the Architect of His death. According to the will of God, He came to live out the role of the Lamb that was slain (by God, for men) before the foundation of the world. 

So, all of the attempts of these men against Him were actually for God! 

They taught they have stopped God, but they were wrong. The whole story, you know! I don't intend to bother with much of the details surrounding the event.

Let me bring you to the present time and the current event. 

Early this year (or late last year in some Asian countries) , there was outbreak of an infection. This infection is the popular COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS DISEASE - '19)

If you're University student, I don't need to tell you what COVID-19 has done to you.

If you listen to news, I don't have to tell you the havoc it has wrecked.

COVID-19 altered schedules, way of life, Academic calendars, Semester plan, Year goals, etc.

Economy of nations received a great blow. Travel plans and transportation was on stampede. 

But despite these, the day has never stopped breaking, the sun has never stopped shining, the wind has never stopped blowing. Rain did not stop falling.

Prophecies are being fulfilled. The wages of sin as stated by God doesn't change. The gift of Righteousness remains unshifted. Souls are being saved, Revival everywhere. God's standard remains steadfast. Holy Spirit does not change operation. 

The chain continues. Just think deep enough, you will discover amazing things about God and what He has decreed about the earth.

What more, humans don't start barking like dogs. Dogs have never bleated since COVID-19 pandemic began. It may sound funny, but it's the truth. 

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL REMAINS UNCHANGED. FAITH IN THE STRIPES OF CHRIST STILL HEALS, HIS BLOOD STILL CLEANSES AND HIS GRACE STILL ENABLES.

Let me not bother you about many of the examples that butress the truth being discussed. I am sure the Holy Spirit will help you discover amazing things for yourself. 

The essence of this post is to draw your attention to God again. His promises in your life and for your generation is YEAH AND AMEN. His word will come to pass, for He is unstoppable. Ooo, you still don't believe this, please go and read the following stories in your Bible:

1. The deliverance story of ISRAEL from Egypt (was pharaoh/red sea strong enough to stop God?)

2. The invasion and possession of Jericho (Was the wall strong enough to hinder ISRAEL?).

3. Finally, the story I started with was that of Jesus Christ. ( Was the grave powerful enough to withhold Him?)

In as much as death could not stop Jesus and Pharaoh/Red sea/ Wall of Jericho couldn't stop God's people, you are also unstoppable and His promises in your life are unstoppable. JUST BELIEVE IN HIS WORD.
